Removing the intake, HELP

After blowing two cylinders (not bad) in my 1990 Force 150, I have decided to rebuild it. I just bought the shop manual and looked it over well. I am at the point where I am trying to get the intake off. As of now I have removed all visible bolts, but the three carburetors are still on the intake. But it seems as if something is still holding it (intake) on. Are there any hidden bolts in the intake or behind the carbs that are hidden?

I am trying to remove the intake without taking off the carbs, is this possible or do I have to remove them to remove the intake?

You’re my last resort, please help. If possible maybe you can even refer me to a website pertaining to the 150 Force in detail.

Hello 150 Force
You should remove all fuel system stuff including carbs.
To separate crank case halves, install 4 head bolts, two in the top cylender, two in the bottom. Use these as legs to stand the block, laying down on bench. You will need to remove 4 main bearing bolts, 8 socket head capscrews,2standard screws. Then you need to drive out 2 locating pins. 1 top 1 bottom, on oppisite sides. these pins are not taperd.

At this point, we have removed everything that you have talked about. As of now it is still intaked to the lower unit and the carbs are still attached.

I am trying to remove the intake with the carbs attached, but after beating it seems as if there is something still holding.

I was wondering if it possible to remove it with the carbs attached and if there would be anything else holding it.

Thanks for all your Help, hope you can come threw for me.

Hi Force 150
If the carbs are still attached, remove them.
If the block is still attached to the exhaust housing, it is not laying on the bench. Remove block and lay it on bench cylenders facing down.
