Hello;
I was out fishing when my engine overheated and shut down (I am sure the water ports are plugged or impellor is bad) I have not replace the impeller yet, but my engine should still start shouldn't it? It doesn't. I have hooked up the muffs and cranked it over but all I get is a weak firing of the cylinders but no complete ignition. Some of the wires that come off of the powerpak were melted so I replaced that. Where should I start? Thank you!

:confused:

You need to verify that you have good spark going to the plugs that fuel is getting to them and I would check the compression.

Re: Force 35 starting problem

If you have spark mix you up al little 50:1 fuel in a spray bottle. lightly spray thru the carb air intake to prime it. see if it will attempt to start. If so then fuel delivery problem. If not then timing, compression or vacuum problem. Do not overspray. Let me know if it attempts to start.
