My beloved Force 50 (1989) was overheating to the point of steam billowing from the water discharge. Turned out it was the thermostat stuck half open. Checked the compression, got about 95 PSI cold out of both cyl. Will run, but starts hard, and only runs for a couple of minutes and quits. Appears to be water in lower cylinder, as spark plug is a little wet. Blown head gasket??? Anyone with similar experience??
