i have a 93 model 70HP Force outboard. It has not seen but a few hours of water in the past few years.
The starter is VERY inconsistent in it's attempt to engage the flywhell. Sometimes it works a few times in a row and other times it does not work. I used wd40 which helped alittle but it now will not engage at all. It does have plenty of starting power.Any suggestions would be appreciated. And if you have any diagrams or pints to change the motor out I would appreciate them

And the trim moter does not seem to havee any power.I changed the switches and the wires were very rotted from being in the direct sun. I retapped them but wonder if the wores are simply too worn.Should I get a whole new trim motor or can you just but the wires?
If you have any suggestions and diagrams I would appreciate your advice and help

First have the battery tested,Then ALL the conections for no corrosion and tightness. Then get a new bendix for the starter if all the other is ok.J
