Hi friends,<br /><br />Anybody can tell me where can I get a copy of the diagram on-line (I lived in Chile)<br /><br />I want to add an alternator for charging the battery.<br /><br />Greetings from Valdivia Boating Club<br />www.cyv.cl

Diagrams are not available online, sorry.<br /><br />You can call or email iboats, at the bottom of the page. They do international shipments, and have manuals for your engine.<br /><br />You should have a voltage rectifier on your engine. It should convert the AC voltage from the stator, to DC voltage, that can charge your battery. The rectifier should have a red, a gray, and 2 yellow wires attached to it.<br /><br />It could be that the rectifier is faulty, and replacing it will restore its charging ability.<br /><br />If you have further questions, please post the model number, and serial number of your engine.
