I have a 93 bayliner with a force 70. I just bought the boat last week for 500.00( couldn't pass that up) I have had it out 4 times. I have run into a problem with it not starting after I have stopped it to dock or anchor out some where. I get it home and it will start right up. I know that I am getting fuel. But the center cyl is not firing. I can put an old plug on that wire and I will get spark to the block when turning it over. I have gone thru connections and cleaned them up and found two yellow wires coming from the trigger that had gotten preety hot to melt the rubber coating around the connector, both wires were this way. And now I think my water pump has gone out. I am not getting any water from the pee hole. Any help will be great! I can work on cars all day long, but boats are all new to me!
