Yes..unless the engine came with autoblend..but I have my doubts. Mix the gas and oil to 50:1<br /><br />TMD

does this mean it is a two stroke engine? i know it is a three cylinder, with 70hp. i was told by the person who i bought it from that you use regular gas.. im confused!

I think he meant regular gas as in the octane rating. You definitely need oil with the gas though. If it is not Autoblend which will have it's own oil tank you mix gas 50:1 with a TCW3 outboard. That is a pint of oil for 6 gals of gas. A quart for 12 gals etc or buy one of those mixing cup things. I have a 30 gal tank so 12 or 18 or whatever for easy mixing is easy for me.

Autoblend was Mercury's first version of oil injection.<br /><br />TMD
