Force 85

Ok, I have a '85 Bayliner with a Force 85hp. I just got it back from being fixed(new flywheel and water pump) Ok, I take it out today, hit the lake wont start. Bring it home, hook up the dog ears with the hose, starts right up, idles great even runs ok when throttled, take it back to the lake get in the water, nothing! What the heck am I doing wrond. Any help would be appreciated!!

There is no difference,except load on the prop when it is placed into gear. If it dies when placed into gear, the Idle is set too low, or the motor is one cylinder down.Do a searh here refering to "Dies in gear" for more in-depth information.
