Well, I took the motor to a marina this morning. The mechanic is almost positive it is a broken piston rod, or rod bolt hitting the cylinder wall that is stopping the motor from turning. He also discovered that the motor has some running time on it due to the top of the pistons having some carbon build-up on them...same thing with the plugs. That opens the door for the engine actually being blown up with a cracked block or a hole in it. That can't be confirmed without removing the powerhead though.

This motor was an Ebay purchase with a cashier's check. Not much I can do. I explain all of the above to the seller on the phone (voice message) and an email and asked for a refund. I will ship the motor back to him in OH. This already involves me losing hundreds of $$ in parts I ordered to repair the cosmetic damage I knew about. And, of course, the shipping.

Suggestions? Comments? Please, I need all the help I can get!
