ok guys im popping on to get some advise on this. I have a 76 stripped and rebuilt 75 hp chrysler motor 757HB. its going on to replace a 1989 507Y9B underpowered 50. wiring harness on the boat to the 50 that's leaving is as follows. pics attached. top to bottom
start yellow/red
tach gray/black
stop black
choke yellow/black
heat beige
the rest have nothing from harness attached.
there is a blue/white and a green/white wire both not attached. this is factory engine that came with boat.
the 75 hp Chrysler moving in has as follows
top start
generator ??? 50 has no lead for gen
tach
choke
heat
battery
ignition
ground.
the ignition switch is a 6 terminal push to choke I installed due to lost keys a few years ago but basically that's what was in it prior.
am I gonna need a new ignition switch harness? more wires or can this be done with what I have. obviously heat choke start all go to their common buy the gen ect I need advise. thanks guys and gals.
