I just purchased 1991 Bayliner with a 120 HP Force L-Drive.<br /><br />I understand that certain new or rebuilt parts are not available for it (like I might need a short block or cylinder.)<br /><br />However, to start, I need to locate the model number and serial number of the engine. Please tell me where it is located.<br /><br />The title simply has the hull number of the boat.,<br /><br />Thanks

check the bracket that mounts to your boat...my 1990 is on the left side.

Hi I just bought a 90 bayliner with a 90hp force L drive and the model # and serial # is at the base of the motor where it bolts to the boat.Standing in the boat look at the motor ,Look down and to the left and there should be a tag there.Sort of a plastic coated paper tag.Hope this helps. Joe
