Force Lower Unit

I have a 1990 50hp Force outboard that needs a lower unit. I'm wondering what years and horse power models would be compatible for this lower unit. It seems that some horse power and years are cross compatible.

84-94 40 and 50 hp will fit.

Check Ebay, there are usually a few lower units available & up for auction.

check your local paper and craigs list .. i just bought an 89 force 50 with a blown power head for 100$ i also have a force 50 and thought for 100 buxs its worth its weight in gold . last lower units i seen on ebay where about 160$ shipped . but they are hit and miss on there
