Force motor identification

I just bought a boat with an 85 hp Force.....The bill of sale states it is a 1987 engine but I think it is an 1985. The model number is 856F5A. I checked it online and it stated it was a 1985. Is this correct?

It's a 85HP (the first two) 6 (trim or not,and shaft length),F (the plant it was made in,I think Fondulac, but not sure), 5(1985), A, First revision.

Revo its a 1985. I'm coming up with the same thing.
