Good day, Some time ago someone wrote on this board that Force OB's need good quality gas and good quality oil in order to run good. So in comparison to other OB brands I still wonder just what that statement meant ?

That implies other brands will run well on bad quality gas and bad quality oil. Makes no sense to me.

"Good quality" oil is any oil rated TC-W3. "Good quality" petrol is 87 octane unleaded regular. A 50:1 gas to oil ratio is suitable.

When talking about things that are rated or measured with numbers using terms like "good" or "decent" (I run into questions about "decent" quality every day) have no useful meaning.

Agree with both of you ... For some reason that old tread poped up in my mind (I own a Force) and could'nt figure it out. Just thought I might have missed some of the answers back then.

Actualy no ... I thought it might have implied that Force OB's would run better with higher octane gas ... or something like that.
