force seems to miss when getting on it

[my new fishmaster]

Tach will flutucate at 4100rpm and more. All out it goes slower than if I am off wot a little. Sounds electrical which could it be the stator or trigger?

Tug on each coil wire where it ends to ensure that it is not broken and losing contact occassionally.
