I found an assembly that looks similiar to mine a 1986 Force 125. The assembly is from a 1993 Mercury, i'm not sure what the horsepower is. They look identical. I am just going to change out the whole mounting bracket, but I want to make sure before I purchase it.

Thanks, Joel

Kindof hard to verify if we can't see it and know what it came off of.

There are 3 of them on ebay right now.

Re: Force Tilt and Trim assembly

Thanks, I actually found the whole assembly on ebay and got a steal. I bought before anyone got to bid. That was such a relief. I was thinking of just switching out the whole assembly, since I would only have to remove the engine pivot rod as opposed to cutting of the old tilt assembly (top and bottom pivot rods won't budge) and putting in the new cylinders, trim cylinder, and motor on my old bracket. My concern also is the alignment of the motor. Would it have any problem just droppong in? The assembly is from a 1991 force 120 and mine is a 1986 125. Would it have drastic variations when installed..

Thanks, Joel
