My froce tilt trim wont work. The motor is down and it wont raise up.I screwed out the side plug, air came out and the tilt worked a couple times and later it wont work. Does this sound like low on fluid and if so what is the best way to get fluid in it with the motor down? Thanks Ron

Mine has a fill plug...just put some in there and if your seals are good it should raise. But mines a 50...dunno what yours is. Good luck..

Mine is a 85hp and the plug is on the side. My concern is will I be able to fget enough fluid in it with the motor all the way down? I have heard that you need to have the motor tilted uo so you can get enough fluid in it:confused:: Thanks Ron

Re: force tilt trim

get a pointy tipped catsup bottle like the kind a fry cook might have. Fill it with 30w NON DETERGENT oil and squirt it in as someone operates the switch.

Thanks for the ketchup bottle tip. There are some fluid in the reservoir as it came out when we loosened the plug. How much is not enough to keep the motor from rising? Thanks Ron

when it bubbles and gurgles and tries to suck in air.
