I've got a Ford Ranger 1999 V-6 5 speed. When it's real cold, my RPM's run wild. It's like the "old" days when the choke would stick. After the vehicle warms up, the RPM's return to normal.
This is dangerous because I can run down the highway like I have cruise control (which I don't)
at 50 mph. I just put it in neutral when stopped at a light, etc.
Any ideas on what's happening? Throttle body, etc?
