So apparently a previous owner failed to align the bracket and pushed the pin in almost completely. I’m trying to figure out wether to drill another hole next to it and put a new pin. I have bad experience with drilling out small stuff, so the old pin can stay. But, I’m not sure about the right height of the pin - any ideas? Couldn’t find anywhere how much it needs to stick out.

Photos attached.

Thanks

Pin looks ok now.-----Pin locates the forward bearing for proper oil flow !

Thanks. If the bearing isn’t applying any significant shearing force on this pin during operation, I guess the shortie will do.
