While digging around at the old homestead, I came across the motor stand for the McCulloch ... wrenching it out of its place in the scrap aluminum pile, I saw what I think is the old mc culloch itself, that is just too wild, thought it was gone long ago

so today I went to Home Depot and found a busted
2 x 10 that was 8 feet long (the false transom board had rotted, it was in bad shape over 20 years ago, lol, but only had a crummy little mc culloch on it, and a gamefisher four and a half - but the johnson 33 is going on there while Im building the jumbo stand for the twin set up)

... wound up haggling it down to 2 bucks, and found some dunnage (scrap wood used in shipping) ... which will extend the footprint of the stand - got some light duty casters for four bucks, another four for some bolts, and I already have some screws ... ten bucks for a castered anvil strong motor stand, not too bad, naturally Ill take pictures as I go along

eh, keeps me busy

Home Depot also has a hampton bay 18 inch pedestal fan for 12 bucks and change, its super nice, a cant miss deal

I put one together today and am very impressed with the level of quality used in construction and the finish, Ill tell ya, I got it for the garage, now the one woman I want one too parade has me going out for another one tomorrow, and get one more as a spare for when its time to replace it ...

just wanted to pass along a great deal, I love those quick lok bits from sears, still cant get over what a deal that was!
