Good evening.
Hope i can get some help.
I have an omc cobra 1989. It was working fine last year but i noticed some milky water in the z-drive and decided to replace all seals. As I had the z-drive split into 2 I set the shift rod 7 13/64 as instructed on manual. The shift rod could easily shifts from F-R-N. Set the transom bell crank to 90 degreases and mounted back the z-drive to the transom bracket. The shift rod fitted perfectly to the bell crank when in neutral. With all the control cables disengaged i rotated the propeller shaft and could engage in the reverse gear and back to neutral but i could not fully engage to the forward gear. Any idea what shall be done. ( The cable is ok only 2 years old.)
thanks
