Inner Hull was fractured(fell from trailer)on my fiberglass boat. Cut out fracture and filled with epoxy and glass.. When I get done sanding, I want to paint(polyeuathane) one or two part(white finish). What is the best product to complete job. Need help with how to finish for strong topcoat to last.
Info appreciated.

Re: Fractured inner hull

There are plenty of paints to choose from, for "above the waterline" use. Two-part polyurethanes are the toughest and most expensive. If the area in question is a high traffic area, you may want to go that route. If not, a single part polyurethane paint ($15-20/qt) should handle it. sand the area to be painted to 200 grit, and prime per the manufacturer's instructions.

Re: Fractured inner hull

thanks for the help. most is along the sides of the inner hull and of course the rails.
two part may be the best bet with primer.
Looking at Epifanes Epoxy Primer and 2 part paint. Any other brands come to mind.
thanks
