My free pic host stopped hosting. The site (Fisingworks.com), is still up, allowing me to post to my album, but will no longer allow links.
This just can't stink enough!
Does anyone know of a free or reasonably priced host or host-only site I could put my album in?
It's hard when a picture is the only way to convey a thought, or to show the gizmo on the end of the framistat.

or you can always pay me to host some pics...

I would host a couple for free on a temporary basis, but if you need alot of space, i can share my Hosting with you if you wanna help chip in for it...

Price will vary on amount of MB of space you will need..

I would basically act as your pic host...

Its an idea...

Re: FREE Pic hosts??

I should post my account info. on here so you can log in and see the spam. It's completely FULL of spam.
I read somewhere on the net about other people trying to close their Angelfire accounts with no luck. They finally posted some 'questionable' material on their free website, and had a friend report it.
Only THEN did they shut it down. I think I may do the same.

1. I got tired of asking them to close it (which they NEVER answered or did)

2. I got sick of erasing the spam every day, so I let it fill up (currently almost 900 e-mails)

3. Now I get an e-mail FROM Angelfire telling me it slows their system down with that much mail on their system and asks me to delete it!

4. I try to use 'their' spam filters, and it gives me errors. It's worked a few times, but the spam just comes back.

5. I quit! They can have their spam. I hope it does slow their system.

I've had the account forever, so maybe they've done something recently so you don't get spam as bad.

____________________________________________

Here's what Angelfire's e-mail says:

Dear User,
Thank you for your continued use of AngelFire Mail service. Our goal is to maintain a high quality, high performance service for all of our users. You are receiving this special notice because your account is close to reaching our 4MB per user limit of disk space. We ask that you either delete or save some of your emails to your hard drive to lower your account size limit so that you do not reach 4MB.

Accounts which exceed our maximum disk space impact the overall performance for all users. Consequently, for those accounts that have reached the 4MB limit, the incoming mails will be returned to the original sender.

For your convenience, we have displayed your account size on the Read Mail page.

Thank you for your cooperation and we hope you are enjoying your AngelFire Mail account.

Sincerely,

--
AngelFire Mail Team
__________________________________________

WELL DUH! IF YOU LET ME BLOCK THE SPAM THEN THIS WOULDN'T BE A PROBLEM!!

H.

Wow.. thats a horror story for sure!!

Anyways, FYI: my offer wasnt for the money.. My hosting fees are not a burden to me..

I just thought i would help out...

I mean I pay $$ for 50 MB of space and i only use 16-25 at any given time so i have room on my server..

Just didnt want to give the wrong impression i was out for money... but that if you needed a larger and permanent host i would work with you...

Hey homerr, I don't use their e-mail stuff, just the anglefire webshell to host pics.

You get 20mb of storage.

It is separate from their e-mail program.
