freind bought a swamped jetski!!!

so my freind calls me today and says he is almost to my house with his new waverunner, a 94 polaris 750.
the previous owner swamped it and it would not run, they did not know enough to pull the plugs and spray out the water, then keep trying till it runs again. so now the motor is siezed and will not turn over. i poured a lil oil in each cylinder because i thought it might be a good idea.

are we screwed here or what? it just clicks when you press the start button....


what is the best option for this situation? has anyone had any luck? thanks!!!! tony

No telling what all is wrong inside. (without pulling it apart) Several BAD things can happen when an engine hydrolocks ie bent rods, bent valve stems, bearings. Sounds like it may have sat too long and the rings are seized against the cylinder walls. Even if you get it to turn over it will probably not have any compression. Sounds to me like the whole engine may need to be rebuilt. Soryy for the bad news.

i have unlock engins before that were locked tight and they still ran fine but its takes a while the best thing i have found is trans fluid and wd40 mixed and let sit for like a month
