fresh water drain and riser drain plug

I recently purchased a 1973 glasply with a mercrusier model 888 inboard motor. The boat has a closed cooling system installed, and the dealership had removed the Cooler fresh water drain and the Riser Drain Plug. I have looked over the risers and checked the manuals but can't seem to locate where these plugs need to go. One plug is an all brass threaded fitting about 1/4" diameter and 1/2" long, the other has a brass threaded top approx. 3/8" and a 2 1/2" metal extension attaced. Please help!!!
