fried regulator

burnt regulator last time out, motor ran fine to get me through the rest of day. Question is will it hurt to run for a couple of trips with regulator disconnected?? my lakes are idle only so no long hard runs

I would not chance it as the optical eye is voltage sensitive and without it recharging battery,running depthfinder,lights and livewell pumps may discharge battery enough to cause running issues.

so if i dont run anything off of it it wouldnt cause further damage? i have 2 batteries for trolling and front depthfinder. rarely use livewells

im just short on $ at moment but hate to not go fishing lol, worst case i can go and troll til batteries start going then head to ramp
