Friends Coming 5/31 BUT 94 Mercruiser Alpha 1 suddenly it won't start

350 inboard engine was starting and running great! Only had to replace the starter but no other problems for over a year since I bought it. Tried new coil 1st but went back to old coil which is hot on both sides. No Spark jump from coil to distributers coil wire while turning over. I think the alternator is not charging so I have been charging the battery and always have fully charge battery. Cap and rotor look good<br /><br />One mechanic said to find the kill switch with the lanyard on it but I have searched with no sighting. User manual has no note about a kill switch either. Only kill switch I find on the www is in throttle/shifter and I have not tested it but was working fine. <br /><br />Please reply here or directly to yeshuaway@eartlink.net or call 405-640-0384
