HI guys,
my boat has 2 fish boxes up front. They have the drains that run from box to the outside of hull(above water line). My question is how could i hook up a pump so i dont have to manually fill them with water? Also are these worth using. some people say since there upfront its better to use them for storage and not nothing else. Can i seal them so water doesnt go everywhere when the boat is in choppy water. thanks for help

with out pictures or knowing the boat, almost impossible to answer. sure you can put a live well pump thru the transom, cut the deck to get the plumbing to the live wells. and install an overflow, to the tanks.

i use one of mine for garbage on the boat.

Easy, look in the iboats store for a livewell pump, mount it in the transom, low towards the center so it is always under the waterline.

Run your hose to one or both boxes, you can get a couple "T" fittings here too.

You will need thru hull drains for the tanks and another T to run them into your drain hose you already have.

Before you start make sure you can get to the backside of the tanks as you have to hook the hoses up and dneed both hands.

As to sealing the boxes, can't help there since I don't know what you have but getting water to them is easy.
Good luck.

mount a bilge pump on a stick or rod. Put some alligator clips on the wires and a hose on the discharge. When you want to fill, stick the hose in the box, clip the wires to a common and ground connection, lower pump overboard on stick fill. When done, wrap it all up and stow it. Then you don't have any additional holes in boat or wiring to run and you have a backup pump for the bilge handy as well.
