My Evinrude 90hp/65 jet impeller is frozen, I tried knocking it loose but don't want to really whack it too hard and breaking something else in the process. <br />I need to take it off to re-shim it since it's never been done in the ten years of its existence.
. some times you can lock the impeller and rock the flywheel counterclockwise a tooth or two and braek the key on the impeller loose. that is usually where it is stuck.<br /> good luck and keep posting
