I am, like many here I'm sure, partial to the inline 6. Last spring I bought a 1987 Merc 115 with a blown cylinder to eventually put on my 1978 Checkmate Tri-Mate 17 footer. The powerhead was then rebuilt by Clams Canino and then several of you in this forum helped me to get through some initial issues with my setup and ignition system.
