My father in law gave me a can of MI 3000 plus deposit control. He said to put a little in each gas tank for my johnson outboards, says it will help keep the carbs clean. Has anybody else used this stuff, and is it ok to use? thanks

Re: fuel additive

It doesn't matter if it works or not. If you want to keep your wife and father in law happy use it...or at least tell him you are. If you want to be single some day tell him you won't use it. <br /> :D

Re: fuel additive

If you tell your F.i.L. that you used his additive you should also tell him it worked ok but, you found this other additive, (pick the one you like) that works great. This way you don't wind up with more MI 3000 from Dad. IMHO, Joe
