1997 glastron 195 ssv - volvo 3.0 engine. Have only had about 6 month - have never had to crank it more than once to start - Was using for about 4 hrs today - loaded up to head off the water - strapped tube to back ( possible covered the 4 air intakes holes above the back seat)
Boat fired up - throotled up and it backfired / stalled. I assumed as soon as it happened that i was restricting the air and removed the tube. Boat would then start up, but as soon as i would apply throttle, it would stall out. I tried for about 40 - 45 minutes and it would start but always stall when applying throttle. One time in the 45 minutes, it fired and ran in gear for about 5 minutes. I finally gave up and got a tow.
