fuel Cell

i was wonderin if anyone knows where u can find a replacement fuel cell that originally was on a 1973 MFG Gypsy. I have a hole where the old gas cap use to be, and a breather vent under it on the side of the boat. i would like to bring it back to original as best as i can ...thanks for your time

Most of the MFGs I know of, had their fuel tanks under the seats. From your pic, it looks like do don't have the original seats. The original seats were a bit bigger than what can be bought today. If you want to get her back as close to original as possible you'll have to make everything your self.

One option would be to purchase a set of back to back Wise Seats

on the port side of my boat i have a hole where the fuel cap used to be and a breather valve under it..and there is a empty space under the breather valve where it looks to be where the old fuel tank was at one time ....just wonderin if someone tried to put a fuel cell on the side of the boat....i dont know

in my '74 the tank is under the port seat (18 gals) if you look close in this pic. it midship , right behind the base of the side window and the midship cleat.

for some reason it also has this sticker on it, but for the life i cant imagine why you need 93 octane for a little 4 banger.
