Fuel contamination in my brand new pontoon

My engine yamaha 115 idles roughly so I took a fuel sample to make sur it wasnt water in the tank and there is no water but there is a waterlike substance FLOATING on the gasoline.... heres a picture: any clues as to what it could be so I can fix my problem? Image below

Gas floats on top of water so that is not water.

You have 99% water in that jar, 1% fuel. And old crappy fuel at that.

Let that jar sit for 2 more days and post a picture then.----New boat / new motor ?-----Have the dealer clean out the entire fuel system.-----Did they do the pre delivery check ?

will post another picture after it sits but its all new fuel new boat new engine from this year... so would be sad if my tank is leaking

Letting it sit will say nothing more the maybe how much worst the fuel is, its bad and needs go go

Agree with @Grub54891 . That's mostly water. Fuel might actually look good once the water separates.
