i have a 1984 70 johnson that just recently has been giving me problems. it started with the boat stalling when giving it throttle from idle. this cleared itself when i would push the key to prime it, didn't fix it but would get the boat going fine. now on saturday i was out in the morning and it was running good, we went out in the afternoon and it started to run very poorly after running for about a half an hour, losing rpms and just didn't want to go but continued to run but was kind of rough. i took the cover off and tried to run the throttle via the linkage and it was good, a little rough but the rpms were there and it revved right up but under load it just dogs out and doesn't want to go.sorry for the long story but i'm baffled... good in the morn but not in the afternoon? thanks
