Re: Fuel economy
I have a 99 C90TLRX that seems to drink fuel. Cruising around for about 30 min today at reasonable throttle and burned 3 gallons. It does not miss or run rough. What are others experience with the fuel economy for this engine?
Hey guys,
I am not trying to promote this particular product. I am just trying to get some feed back from anyone out there and I am not quite sure as to how & where I should post this without breaking forum rules. I realize that some of you are well aware of this product, but they have an amazing promotion on right now. Whether you are running diesel or gas engines, here is a great deal for all of us interested in verifying that ?sweet spot? and saving some serious coin while doing so. FloScan?s special pricing + 0% factory financing deal is sure making it quite affordable & easy to own. I have ordered the 90000-20B-2 unit for my twin 454 gassers that will interface with my Garmin 545-S GPS unit. Check out this link for their promotional information.

Before floating our boat this spring, I will do a complete tune up replacing the coils, plugs, wires, caps & rotors before installing the new FloScan unit. After completing the installation, I will be logging data collected from this unit starting at planning speed all the way up to WOT at 200 RPM increments. Stay tuned for the results. I am hoping that there will be some fairly quick pay back here. In addition to our regular boating activities, we will be cruising to the Finger Lakes area this summer (10 day trip) via Alexandria Bay N.Y. to Oswego. On the return trip, we will cross Lake Ontario to Kingston, Ontario & then back to home port at Rockport, Ontario in The Thousand Islands area of the St. Lawrence River. I anticipate that this FloScan unit will certainly be a beneficial tool from a financial point of view. I have already committed to this product as I have ordered a unit, but I would be interested to hear what others have to say about it. Perhaps, I should have done this first before ordering.
Regards ~ Ken
