So I was doing a few things in the boat today in preparation for the Easter long weekend, and I noticed the fuel filter had been leaking. I primed it up again and it drips very slowly out the side of the old glass filter (see pic). Not wanting to go out on the water with this situation I thought I should do something about it.

I popped off the bowl and pulled out the cork seal and the screen and cleaned and reinstalled. I noticed the screen is a little warped and the cork had an indent in it from where the bowl had been contacting so I flipped it over. Put it all back together, primed it up again and it still leaks.
Thought I'd try and find the screen and seal at the local marine parts store - no dice. OK, replacement filter of the same style - nope. OK then, something else that will work - that's what's baffling me! It's not quite as easy as looking up the application chart like for cars!!
So - I have a 75HP Chrysler (1975 model). Would this filter be suitable? It doesn't list any flow rates or micron ratings or anything that are visible on the website, but I'm hoping it should work for me (I'd like to get a Racor but funds are too tight - it's an extra $100). Filter: https://whitworths.com.au/main_itemdetail.asp?item=34341&search123=fuel+filter&intAbsolutePage=1
NB I'm not affiliated with this company at all. I honestly don't know so looking for help. I can't buy from iboats and get it shipped to Australia in time for the long weekend!
