I have a 1997 Mercruiser 5.7 LX bravo II. It has a Fuel/Water filter on it. Is it a good idea to cut the s/s fuel line to instal a inline see through fuel filter ?
Thanks !

And don't just replace the filter, empty it into a clear container and look at what you have.

Don't get the Fuel/Water seperator confused with a dedicated inline fuel filter...they don't perform the same function.
