I have and 06- F150 with the command link multifunction meter (square) to adjust the fuel flow consumption, the book states fill tank run the engine and refill and than compare the difference of the two. My question is in the book it states you can change the fuel flow value within -7 to +7 percent. I used 12 gallons more than meter shows so would I set the value negative being that more fuel was used than meter showed and is reading less than used or set the value positive meaning I used more fuel than shown?

Use the positive....you are adjusting what the meter saw...so you want the meter to see it used more, not less.
