Not sure this is where to post this question....<br /><br />My fuel gauge quit working. I've got 12v from the ignition to ground and 5v from the sender to ignition. This would indicate to me that I should have a little less than half a tank. This makes sense based upon my last fishin trip where I burned alot of fuel.<br /><br />Does this mean that the gauge is bad? It's getting power to the gauge and the sending unit resistance is dropping the voltage at about the level it should be.<br /><br />I just want to check prior to buying a new gauge.<br /><br />thanks - <br /><br />wishniwasfishn
