Fuel gauge not working; needle will not move. I have ground the pink and neutral wires at the tank and nothing happened. I have 12 volts power at gauge, but the pink wire that goes from the gauge to the tank sending unit only has 4 volts and at the tank, I still have those 4 volts. what is wrong?
I just checked the gauge by taking the pink wire off the sending unit. The fuel needle did not move. I ground the pink wire with a known good ground and the needle did not move. Curious thing, the pink wire has 10 volts while not connected to the sending unit, but only 4 volts when it is connected. Any help?
