Re: fuel guage problem
First you want to see if the guage works, it should have a hot 12v terminal (when key is on) and it should have a sender terminal (wire from the tank), take the wire from the sender off and use a jumper wire to ground, with key on guage should read full, if it does then the guage is ok and you have a sender or broken wire prob. Assuming you can get to the sender, check connections then with an ohm meter you can check it to see if it's open or not. Go to this link Fuel Sender for a diagram and more detailed instructions
