Fuel hose, from lift pump to carb/VST

Can Silverado 4000 fuel line, rated USCG B1, be used for fuel line from the lift pump to the VST ?

The existing hose is 5/16" (8mm) ID and 1/2" (12mm) OD. Thicker (larger OD) can not be used.
