Fuel hose question

I was wondering if its considered ok to use regular fuel line to replace all the short hoses between the carbs and fuel pumps on my 175?
I went to Napa for marine fuel line but they said what they had for fuel injection systems would work fine. It looks a little thicker than the old line but seems to fit the nipples very tight.
Thought i'd get a pros advice on this.
Getting ready to rebuild carbs and fuel pumps so i want all the 26 year old hoses replaced.

Thats what I've always used. Nothing has ever blown up.

Thats good!
After looking over the old lines i'm lucky i have not gone BOOM!!!
I found 2 rotted lines dripping fuel.I hope that and a carb rebuild will fix my low WOT and rough idle at times..
