1996 Larson SEI 174 4.3L V6 Alpha one leg. I am seeing some fuel around the leg in the water after running engine. Thinking that it is unburned fuel coming through the exhaust. Is this normal? any other ideas?
Thanks for the assistance.

Re: fuel in the water

Humm......without a few more clues, how can we discern between the rainbow sheen of fuel, engine oil, outdrive oil or trim oil??

Re: fuel in the water

Good point, pretty sure it's not drive oil as the resevoir is not dropping and there appears to be no water in the leg when I check the plug. It does appear to be a rainbow sheen. Hydraulic does not seem to be dropping either. I will check the engine oil today and see. I thought maybe the prop seal in the bottom end if it was oil...but doesn't appear to be. New to boating and just want to be sure I'm not going to cause some major damage if not addressed.
Thanks
