I have a 1999 Twin volvo penta 5.7 engines. I wanted to know is there a difference between the TJ11T and TJ11 Injectors? If so what is the difference and which is the correct one for me to use?

Thank You

You want the TJ17 there 53 lb injectors at 13 psi now at 30 psi it starts to get stupid. Why rock auto puts 90 lb injectors as the right injector is beyond me...Actually this is a opinion a 4.3 injector would be more than probably the best fit. If you look up the 94/95 454 truck injectors there 4.3 injectors but they run run at 30 psi the only years GM did that and your penta runs at 30psi...Autmotive tbi runs at 13 psi how they try to cross reference is beyond me again.

I have 5.7Gxi TBI engines and tried the TJ11. They deliver WAY TOO MUCH FUEL. Standard motor list them as the correct replacement but they are definitely not.

Tail_Gunner, have you ever tried the TJ17 @ 30psi? I would be curious to know how they perform. I don't trust Standard motor fitment listing for TBI injectors anymore.

Yes the tj17 will work for the 5.7 if the injection pressure on the tbi is 30lbs.

The original injector size is yellow and brown GM part number 17084327-ACR one can cross reference that to modern number's. The TJ17 will it work...yes that's a opinion and you do have a 30lb injector rail. The TJ 17 will save you money the acr injector will be the true cross reference, TBI injector flow rates vary from injector to injector by a small margin say 3=5lbs you will find one can buy matched flow rated pairs if you so choose to do so but that a bit obsessive. Remeber TBI is very old tech and in a boat engine it is even more basic...the injection burst's happen in milleseconds and getting a precise charge is well problematic to say the least actually its not going to happen marine engine's run very.. read very rich.
