My engine will start but not run for more than 2 or 3 minutes tops. If I continue to pump the ball before it stalls it will keep running. Does this mean that it's the fuel pump? What else could it be if thats not it?

That or an air leak in the fuel line somewhere.

by priming the bulb, you are in fact bypassing the need for a fuel pump (sort of) but try the very easy things first, a complete new tank and hose, just to make sure, then worry about the fuel pump and go from there.

The primer bulb and fuel pump act to fill the float bowls at the bottoms of you carburetors, and to keep them filled; that's the reservoir of fuel from which the pistons' vacuum pulls the fuel. If the primer bulb can keep the engine running, the fuel pump is the logical problem.

Yes it was running fine the last time I used it, about a week ago. It happened when I went to use it again. Didn't make it off the trailer. There is some fuel leaking from the fuel pump and there is no other fuel leaks that I can find. Anyother ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
