1988 130hp Yamaha sat for 1 year. When I recently tried to start it would only run on high RPMs, it would not idle. I just rebuilt the carbs and today when I tried to start it would only idle for about 4 seconds then stall. When I looked back at the motor I noticed fuel leaking out of the fuel pump. I have attached a picture with an arrow pointing to where the leak was. Why would fuel be leaking from this hole? What is the purpose of this hole? Would a fuel pump rebuild kit fix this? I appreciate the help!!!
