Hello.

I have a 1980 Glastron SSV 177. Last summer when I would gas up, fuel would come out of the vent located on the starboard side of the hull when the fuel tank was full. When I winterized the boat I filled the tank and treated the fuel with Stabil. I just picked the boat up from storage and found that fuel had been leaking from the vent. Fuel even sloshed out when I was hooking up the trailer.

Does anybody know what the problem might be?

Thank you.

the tank is over filled. you're gas cap is sealed, the expandion has to go somewhere. that's with the vent is on the outside of the boat.

Is it normal for the gas to come out of the vent when fueling the boat?
