Fuel Line and connector Questions

I just inherited this 98 Alweld boat with a 4 stroke 60hp Mercury. I'm going over a few things and came across this fuel line connection. The 2' hose from the pump bulb is attached to the quick connect with a zip tie! It has apparently run great like this for the past 4 years. The hose connection to the bulb appears to be a factory clamp- so it has me wondering what is factory and what is rigged up . I'm going to replace this clear hose piece (as it is soft and degraded), and want to know what type of hose, clamps, and any other advise before I get the parts. Should I replace the entire bulb assembly too? The fuel tank is located in the bow, with very new looking 5/16 hose.
Thanks!

When you replace the hose, you can use ty wraps if they are the correct ones, which you should be able to get at your local dealer. The part number is 320107. They are different than the white flat types in that they have a built in circular clamping area to ensure that you get a 360 degree clamping.
